Pastor Blaine MacNeil's Bio
Pastor Blaine MacNeil specializes in small town and rural church ministry. He spent seven years working as an interim pastor for churches throughout his home state of Minnesota. He now serves New Hope Community Lutheran church in central Wisconsin.
He holds a Master’s degree (2001) in Psychology from the Adler Graduate School in Richfield, Minnesota. He graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Master’s in Divinity degree (2004). He furthered his educational experiences by completing the chaplain residency program at the Veterans Administration Hospital in St Cloud, Minnesota (2013-14).
He is also a Major in the United States Air Force Auxiliary/Civil Air Patrol where he serves as the chaplain of a squadron in the Wisconsin wing. In his service to our nation he has earned two Commander’s Commendation awards for his service. He has served in search and rescue missions as a ground team member, and as a flight crew member. He is a graduate of the North Central Region Chaplain’s Corp College and was the Minnesota Wing and North Central Region Chaplain of the year in 2012.
He and his wife Melanie have a home in Wisconsin where they live with their dog, Kelly Grace. They love spending time with their five grandchildren.
